Emily Executioner – Book Launch and Appearance

I stopped by Bridge City Comics for the book launch. Fun time had by all!

This dummy was shamelessly hawking my book. Putting a gun to his head had him speechless.

This guy Travis was pretty cool, but he’s never done a throat rip.

This couple has good taste… but they don’t know anything about guerrilla warfare.

This guy kept asking to play with my gun… Almost shot him.

It was fun, but extremist gangs don’t kill themselves… I had to move along.

Emily Executioner Page 1 Preview!

Emily Executioner Page 1 Preview

The Kickstarter is live and I am excited for everyone to get their copy!  Here is the page 1 preview.

Setting

Emily exists in a fictional, Republic of Sapphire.  This setting acts as a place holder for Middle Eastern countries at war, which allows the story to comment on specific ideas without convolution of intricate politics.

The heart of the story is Emily’s coming of age.  Diving into real world politics would have heavily distracted the story from this focus.  There are simply too many plot lines of multiple warring factions to be contained within a 28 page comic.

See the cover, here.

The Emily Executioner Kickstarter

Hello Everyone,

It looks like Chad got off his ass and finally launched my Kickstarter Campaign.  Now he goes back to hiding behind his little computer while I do all the work.

I do a lot of heavy lifting on this project.  I kick ass, get my ass kicked, and even rip open throats with my bare hands!  I do all of this, and then I have to listen to him complain about clicking buttons.  How that guy survived this long is beyond me.  He gets hand cramps and I get PTSD… what a loser.

Check out my book on Kickstarter.  Hopefully it’ll teach you something, or at least make you think a little.  If that fails, there’s always good ol’ fashioned violence to fall back on.
