Emily Executioner in Print!!

The wait is over!

After years!?  Time really flies…  After years of hard work, I was able to hold a print copy of Emily Executioner in my hands!

The work is not over yet, I still need to find new homes for all the hard work put into Emily Executioner.  Running a Kickstarter campaign is next on my list of things to do, I hope I can count on your support.

A Fancy New Logo!

Hello everyone in Emily Executioner land.  Sorry that it has been a little quiet around here, but I hope to remedy this moving forward.  To get the ball rolling, check out the awesome new logo!

It was created by the classy Kyle Martin over at Birdbath Studios.  If you need slick designs, please give Kyle a call.

Lil’ Emily Executioner

The amazing Dre Thorne was kind enough to create a lil’ Emily Comic strip with me.  I’m looking for feedback on this strip, the lettering and the new logo.  Please comment, or message me, if you have any critiques.

We are still moving forward with the campaign, not ready to set a date at this time, but I will definitely post updates leading up to the launch.  The best way to support the project right now is to like the Facebook page.

Who is Emily Executioner? -The choice between who we are supposed to be and who we want to be.

Emily Executioner is a 28 page comic book about a young woman who struggles to understand the ethical decisions she faces in a war-torn region.

Who is Emily Executioner?

Emily is an orphan adopted (recruited) by foreign military contractors.  Raised to be the squad’s best assassin, she has been killing her way to the top of the Eagle State Contractor ranks.

The choice between who we are supposed to be and who we want to be.

Emily’s most recent target is one she cannot kill, because of this, she is forced to reflect on why.

Are moral stances a choice, or are we products of our environment?

Emily Executioner will be up on Kickstarter soon, please follow her on Facebook.

Lil’Emily Executioner – Cuteness Kills The Uncaring Rebels

Check out this great character design Dre did of lil’Emily Executioner!

If you would like to see more of his art, or hire this man for a commission, visit his DeviantArt page.

We are toying with the idea of doing a little comic strip with her.  I’ll post an update if we can get this to happen.

I’m still finding new things I didn’t know about the Kickstarter/self-publishing process everyday.  The latest update is registering for an ISBN.  While I am learning a lot, there is the feeling of one step forward and two steps back in the process.  I wish I could magically get this book out right now, but it wouldn’t be done right.

Shot in the Face: Emily Executioner Pin-Up

Remember that time Emily shot the guy in the face?

Which time?

You know, when she hit the eye shot.

Still not narrowing it down enough.

Remember… he had a gas mask on?

Hmm… Nope sorry, she killed so many of those… Wait!  Oh yeah, that guy!  What a tool.

Yeah, he didn’t have a chance.

The very talented Dre Thorne was kind enough to create a Pin-Up of Emily!

Dre is currently accepting commissions.  If you want to purchase some of Dre’s art, please comment, or contact us through the Facebook page, and we will let him know.

We are currently receiving quotes from printers, working on formatting the final product, and developing a kickstarter campaign.  We will try to post updates as we go, if you wanna stay in the loop, please like us on Facebook.  If you have any questions, please ask, we are very passionate about the project and are happy to talk about it.
